Sources inside the BCDO say the decision has all but been announced as to who will be the newest Bergen County Freeholder. The seat will be filled at a Democratic Convention to replace former Freeholder Connie Wagner who was sworn into the state Assembly earlier in the week.

The BCDO backed candidate is all but assured the appointment.

“We believe the BCDO will again demonstrate that we are a progressive Party of inclusion,” said a source in an e-mail to Inside Bergen yesterday.
