“Although Rob Ortiz endorsed Rudy he did so before he even decided to run for Chairman he has not asked anyone else to support him. In fact I am the acting deputy chairman of the BCRO and I am on the McCain NJ steering committee and have been for over a year.  McCain's Bergen County Steering Committee members are Kathe Donovan, Pat Schuber, and myself all big supporters of Rob Ortiz.  Not to mention Senator O'Toole who has supported McCain for a long time also an Ortiz supporter.  And of course NJGOP Chair Tom Wilson has been a supporter of McCains for years and is also very close to Ortiz. To answer your questions in your articles Rob Ortiz will have no problems reaching out to the McCain Campaign when he is our candidate for President.  In fact more members of Ortiz's "inner circle" are supporting McCain than Rudy.”
