Loretta Weinberg’s “Real Bergen Democrats” partied hearty at a fundraiser last Thursday night at the posh 201 Club in Englewood.

But even though the $75 per person fundraiser was to benefit a group of so-called reformers who tout their “openness,” this reporter was refused entrance, even when offering to pay his way.

Left standing on the street as Bergen’s elite reformers partied inside, it appeared fewer than 80 people went through the doors to dance the night away. However, I must admit, I may have over counted due to hypothermia.

So, with $5,000 or $6,000 on hand and a well practiced two-step, it looks like Team Weinberg is ready to take on the Duke of Darkness himself, Bergen Boss Joe Ferriero.
