Boss Joe may have delivered Bergen County to Hillary Clinton on February 5^th, but he has clearly backed the wrong horse for President.

Hillary Clinton is getting slapped around the country by the voters one week and the media the next. It’s sure looking like she’s going down for the count this month.

“Ferriero overplayed his hand and got arrogant,” said one insider demanding anonymity for fear that the Boss of bosses would not be pleased. “Who cares if you can deliver your county by 20% in a primary for someone you chose, if you deliver it to the wrong choice?”

“I can’t see how Clinton pulls this out nationally,” said another email to Inside Bergen. “Ferriero really screwed up.”

Which begs the point: Joe Ferriero’s power seems to end at Bergen’s boarders (and ebb inside of Bergen once every four years when Loretta Weinberg appears on the ballot).

Maybe da Boss will have better luck in the emerging U.S. Senate contest. If he delivers there the way he did for Clinton he may redeem himself after all.
