After being outmaneuvered in 2005 with Ken Zisa and then Michael Wildes, Boss Ferriero is apparently working to make sure the county committee will be a little friendlier in 2008.

For all the huffing and puffing from the so-called “reformer” side of things, an initial review of Democratic County Committee races shows that Loretta Weinberg, Valerie Huttle and Gordon Johnson should be watching their backs.

Weinberg dropped the ball on two counts: 1) There are only scattered challenges to Joe Ferriero countywide outside of District 37, and 2) In District 37, forces aligned with Loretta Weinberg appear to have been massively outgunned by those against her with only 112 county committee candidates on her slate and 226 running opposed.
